Who: Randy Baysinger, participant, mentor, and coach for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s “Team In Training”, was passionate about raising funds for cancer research and equally passionate about marathon training. He faced the ultimate challenge and fought a courageous battle when he was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2009.
What: A 13.1 mile walk/run honoring Randy with completion medals and t-shirts for registered participants. As Randy would say...“This is just time on the road.” To honor him, and in the spirit of raising funds for cancer research, all proceeds will be donated to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Where: The west side hills of Stanislaus County, starting at the Best Western Villa Del Lago, 2959 Speno Drive in Patterson. Participants will head up Diablo Grande Parkway for an out-and-back course with appropriate aid station placement. There will also be medical personnel monitoring the event.
When: April 14, 2013 at 7:00 a.m., check-in begins 6:00 a.m. The course will remain open for 4 hours.
Cost: Registration is $60. You must be 18 years or older to participate. Registration is limited for this event. Event shirts are handed out with bib numbers and the completion medals are awarded at the finish. Event shirts tend to run small, so please consider this when indicating size.

A: Submit the registration form and your payment through one of the methods listed on the registration page.
Q: What do the medals look like?
Another beautiful design by David Medina!
Q: Will there be an award to the overall winner?

A: Yes! Villa Del Lago is hosting our event and offering a special rate of $74.00 (double Occupancy) to participants traveling from out-of-town for a Saturday night stay. The hotel is just steps away from the start line. Visit the Best Western Plus Villa Del Lago website at http://www.villalago.com/

A: There will not be an "organized" pre-race dinner. "Damasco's" is located inside the hotel. El Rosal, Denny's, Lampost Pizza and various fast-food offerings are within walking distance of the hotel. Equally good for lunch following the event! It is also worth mentioning that Starbuck's is conveniently located across the street from the Best Western.
*A word from our host hotel: The consumption of alcoholic beverages outside of the hotel bar & restaurant (parking lot, finish line area, etc) is not allowed.
